Compare Las Vegas hotels
The big question is whether you stay in hotels on Las Vegas Strip or not.
A hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard puts you at the heart of the action and is likely to be the more glamorous choice, while somewhere in the grid of streets off-Strip is likely to offer more quietude and better value.
Cheap Las Vegas hotels tend to be located in Downtown.

To have the quintessential Las Vegas experience, you need to stay in one of the Strip’s legendary casino-hotels.
Every one of the big names has rooms, and most have hundreds, or even thousands of them.
Sin City typically lacks for nothing, and that includes capacity. A whopping 15 Las Vegas hotels in 2016 make up the top 25 largest hotels in the world by room count, all of which are on the Strip. In total, the city has over 150,000 rooms.
Cruise along the Boulevard and you’ll see a succession of beckoning Las Vegas hotels with familiar names: the MGM Grand, the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, and on and on.
Many are luxury five-star Las Vegas hotels, along with some accommodation-only paradises such as the Mandarin Oriental.
Pretty much every hotel has a pool: in the spirit of Las Vegas excess, most have several pools, including topless pools, adults-only pools and entire water parks.
Expect an enormous variety of accommodation categories, too, from identikit double rooms to luxury penthouse suites so big you risk getting lost. You’ll also find spas, bars and restaurants galore as a standard part of the casino-hotel complexes.
