#costa adeje gran hotel
Costa Adeje Gran
This chic hotel comes with four pools, two restaurants and the kind of interiors you’d normally see on a magazine cover.
This stylish hotel gives you the pick of four pools, including a rooftop number. The dining scene is special, too. There are two places to choose from, with special mention going to the Mediterranean à la carte.
The sports line-up includes tennis and squash, and there’s a sanctuary-like spa. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better – it’s on a hillside about a 5-minute walk from the centre of Costa Adeje and the beach.

not the best 5 star
First the good, the entrance and reception area are very nice. The staff are all lovely. The room was a good size and kept clean. Breakfast had a good choice and the food was to a good standard. There was a pool area on 6th floor to escape to. The hotel was kept clean. The not so good. The air con was awful, it was working we were told but it barley cooled the room. The pool area- the sun beds are in rows far too close together, the music and entertainment was more suited to families with children, very loud and could be heard all over the hotel. The quite pool on 6th floor is very basic, no pool service, no food available on that level so you can’t stay there for your lunch and if you leave there is every chance that your towel would be removed while you went down to the other level to get food. The bar area is set out like a holiday camp club house, it was always full because a lot of people were on all inclusive package so would stay in to drink and watch the entertainment which again was deafening. you have to pay a 20 euro refundable deposit to loan an iron, this makes me think that the hotel expect the guests to steal the iron if they didn’t retain their money. I requested an iron for 2 days, was told they had a long list of people waiting for an iron and would let me know when one became available on my 4th visit to reception there was irons in the cupboard but no one had let me know that they had come back in and am sure if I hadn’t gone down to reception when I did no one would have contacted me to let me know that there was now one available. You pay 12 euro’s a week to use the safe in your room, why? just charge 12 euros extra in the 1st place. Room tip, quitter rooms face the street, rooms that face the pool area are very noisy. Wi fi very slow to the point that it would just bomb you out a lot of the time.More
Our weeks holiday was excellent, good food, good accommodation and staff also, especially Doluce a waitress who made every effort to make you feel welcome, very pleasant and very helpful and Doluce makes the best Barraquito (Canarian speciality coffee). we are planning a return next year for two weeks in September as we found a week wasn’t long enough and hope to meet Doluce again.
