There are plenty of great hotels in most major American cities. What sets a hotel to stand apart from the rest in my opinion, is exceptional service.

That is what my family and I experienced at The San Francisco Nikko. From the moment we valeted our car to the moment we left, we had amazing and very friendly service. The 2 or 3 times we picked up the phone to ask for our car or about restaurant reservations, we interacted with a service professional that excelled in what one would expect excellent hospitality to be.

The stand out performance for our stay however, was by our abundantly, kind, warm and friendly bellhop, Adam. My wife and I discussed it after Adam left the room and agreed that Adam was hands down the best bellman we had ever met. Once he entered our room with our bags he was courteous, kind and even took the time to chat with our two kids. He didn’t simply say hello, he engaged in a conversation with them. The brief experience we had with Adam made our stay at the Nikko a very memorable one.

Everything else about the hotel was positive as well. It was clean, the amenities and location were fine and we didn’t want for anything, except maybe a faster responding television but that’s technology for you.

If you are looking for a great hotel with exceptional service and possibly the best bellman in hotels, look no further.
