Donating goods to our Shops
It takes a constant supply of items to keep up with demand in Hospice Shops – your donations of good quality items are vital and greatly appreciated.
We are pleased to accept:
All Shops: clean clothing and bedding, homeware, curtains, books, magazines, CDs, tapes, videos, DVDs and small furniture
Ellerslie Shop: furniture, small clean appliances (in good working order and less than five years old, enquires to Amanda Killick 5257160)
Unfortunately we cannot accept:
Becoming a Shop Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers to take a regular shift in Hospice Shops. Can you help us?
Shop volunteers serve behind the counter as well as help behind the scenes with sorting and pricing donations. We normally ask you to work a three-hour shift (10am-1pm or 1-4pm) as little or as often as you can.
Volunteering in a Hospice Shop is a great way to meet interesting people, develop new skills and most importantly – know that what you are doing benefits others.
We look after and value our volunteers. Click here for more about our volunteer programme.
