Vitas Innovative Hospice Care. an end-of-life care provider, has opened an office in New Lenox.

A provider for adults and pediatric patients with life-limiting illness, Vitas Innovative Hospice Care is planning an open house from 4:30-7 p.m. Sept. 26 at its newest location, Silver Cross Hospital Campus. 1890 Silver Cross Boulevard.

The meet and greet is planned for the Silver Cross Hospital Pavilion A in the Conference Room on the lower level. Attendees are asked to call 815-729-9352 to RSVP by Sept. 25.

Due to IOPD rules we would like to make clear that ALL riders (Championship or Non championship ) for all future events are required to display a Finn Type board with there correct class background colour and numbers which need to be displayed on both sides as stipulated on our rules page.
Flat number boards displayed on the back of the any quads will unfortunately not be able to participate in an event.
This is a requirement requested by IOPD.
All non championship riders will be required to ride with a transponder as this reduces confusion with our lap scoring.

I.O.P.D. Have asked us to point out to all riders that ‘A head camera attachment could compromise a participants safety in the event of a collision.’ We therefore strongly advise they are not used.

We are running an open Youth Hybrid class this year. There will be one class for all engine sizes to a max of 250cc and it will run alongside the 250 group. Age restrictions will still apply.

Minimum age for youth riders is now 7 years old

You will be required to display your number on a rear fin type board of the correct colour for your class. You will not pass scrutineering without this.
All correct safety clothing will now be checked – please see club rules for further information.

Vitas Innovative Hospice Care. an end-of-life care provider, has opened an office in New Lenox.

A provider for adults and pediatric patients with life-limiting illness, Vitas Innovative Hospice Care is planning an open house from 4:30-7 p.m. Sept. 26 at its newest location, Silver Cross Hospital Campus. 1890 Silver Cross Boulevard.

The meet and greet is planned for the Silver Cross Hospital Pavilion A in the Conference Room on the lower level. Attendees are asked to call 815-729-9352 to RSVP by Sept. 25.

Spokesperson Michelle Bacon said VITAS Innovative Hospice Care provides end-of-life care for adult and pediatric patients with life-limiting illnesses. We work with patients and families to provide comfort and preserve dignity in the face of terminal illness, according to the website.

About 90 percent of all hospice care takes place in the home, she said. Vitas assists families with that undertaking.

While business hours in New Lenox are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Vitas is available 24 hours a day. Clients need only call 815-729-9352 for immediate assistance.
