1888 Chophouse – At 1888 Chop House, Executive Chef JW Foster presents a modern twist on the authentic chop house with a menu focused on prime cuts of Alberta beef, sustainably sourced wild game and Ocean Wise seafood.
Waldhaus Restaurant – Bavarian cottage-style building created as a clubhouse in 1927 on the edge of the golf course. Dark-wood paneling, large fireplace, and wine cabinet housing excellent wine selection. Authentic German and Swiss dishes. Reservations recommended. Nightly dinner; seasonal closures.
Bow Valley Grill – Casual dining overlooking the Fairholme Mountain Range. Sculptures and tables constructed by local artisans featuring the region’s flora and fauna. Exhibition kitchen. Buffets and à la carte dining. Sunday brunch is a specialty. Breakfast and lunch served Monday–Saturday; nightly dinner; Sunday brunch.
Castello Ristorante – Traditional Italian cuisine, wines, and desserts. Reservations recommended. Nightly dinner; seasonal closures.
Waldhaus Pub – Located beneath the Waldhaus dining room. Casual bar with pool table and multiple TVs. Appetizers, cheese fondue, microbrews, and beers on tap. Open from late afternoon to late evening; extended hours in summer months.
Samurai Sushi Bar and Restaurant – Authentic Japanese surroundings. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Japanese hot-pot dinners such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and yosenabe. Dinner served five nights per week; seasonal closures.
Golf Course Clubhouse – Located at Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, with superb mountain, fairway, and river views. Scheduled shuttle service available from the hotel’s front entrance. Lunch, snacks, and beverages; seasonal closures.
Rundle Lounge – Overlooking the Bow Valley. Appetizers and cocktails. Traditional afternoon tea served daily. Open from early afternoon to late evening.

11th Frame Games Café – Located in the bowling center. Video games, pool table, and snacks. Open from late afternoon to early evening.

Nearby Things to Do
Guests have complimentary access to the mountain resort s children’s pool, indoor pool, year-round outdoor pool, and indoor spa tub. Within the Willow Stream Spa, the spa tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and European mineral pool are available for a surcharge.
The health club (surcharge) provides treadmills, stationary bikes, weight-training machines, stair machines, elliptical trainers, yoga mats, free weights, and other equipment. Regularly scheduled fitness classes include yoga and aerobics.
Golfers choose between the 18-hole Stanley Thompson course or the nine-hole Tunnel course. Five tennis courts are on site, with lessons and equipment rentals available. Also on site are an ice-skating rink and bowling center (surcharges). Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available on the resort grounds in season.
In summer, walkers stroll along the banks of the Bow River to nearby Bow Falls. In winter, the snow-capped mountains offer world-class skiing and snowboarding at Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village, and Lake Louise. An independent company provides scheduled shuttle transportation (surcharge).
