Who We Are

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides that any person has a right of access to Federal agency records, except to the extent that such records are protected from release by a FOIA exemption or a special law enforcement record exclusion.

What We Do

It is VA’s policy to release information to the fullest extent under the law. The VA has a decentralized system for handling FOIA requests.

If you re an RN and want to go back to school this fall, VCU School of Nursing has space available to admit additional qualified students in the RN to B.S program, which also includes the HCA cohort. The new application deadline for fall 2017 entry is August 1 .

If you were thinking of applying but needed more time, VCU School of Nursing is pleased to announce there is space available to admit additional qualified students in the fall 2017 DNP program. The new application deadline is June 5, 2017 .

The School of Nursing will host facility tours Tuesday, April 11 through Thursday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 18 through Friday, April 21. Tours will begin in the lobby of Sadie Heath Cabaniss Hall. located at 1100 E. Leigh Street on the MCV Campus, promptly at 12:15 p.m. and will last 45 minutes. Visitors should allow time to find parking. There are several on-street parking options available (metered and lot), or guests can pay to use the 8th Street Parking Deck or the E and S Patient/Visitor Parking Deck. The School of Nursing does not validate parking; however, guests who have received parking validations from the Welcome Center for the West Broad Street Deck may also use the validation code for the 8th Street Deck.
