Luxor Hotel Las Vegas – Deals & Info, Las Vegas Advisor, luxor

Luxor

Despite some recent “de-theming,” the Luxor pyramid (and its famous light beam) remains one of the most iconic landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip, with “inclinators” (elevators that rise at a 35-degree angle) and a free tram to both Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Rooms provide one king or two queen beds, flat-screen TVs, and oversized showers. One of Las Vegas’ LGBT-friendly resorts, the Luxor features some of the more unusual hotel amenities, including a (paid) baggage check-in/delivery service and a photographer offering custom in-room boudoir shoots, while tee times may be booked via the hotel at any of Las Vegas’ three Walters golf courses. Part of the M Life players club, the casino includes a poker room, race and sports book, and high-limit area.

Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi in Las Vegas, paris hotel las vegas.#Paris

Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi in Las Vegas

Paris hotel las vegas

Breakfast in Las Vegas can only get better if you choose to find a seat on the patio at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas Resort. The coffee is top notch and that alone should prevent you from waiting on the hordes of people who want that generic Starbucks 3xperience. You are on vacation so find a seat, order something sweet and then have a few cups too many as you watch Las Vegas walk past you. Order an omelet, a bowl of fruit, a giant sticky bun and drink way too much coffee.

I m not sure you can find a better place to see Las Vegas in the morning on the Las Vegas strip. The patio is feet away from the Las Vegas strip so the sidewalk is populated with all the action that great people watching requires. The people who decide they ll run every morning they are in Las Vegas, the walk of shame crowd, the guy and girl who fell in love the night before, the three drunk guys who are walking back to their room after a very long night. I love Las Vegas!

Oh the food for breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas? The food is right up there with the best breakfast places on the strip. What you should have at Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast?

  • Go light with a Fresh Fruit Cup, Vanilla Yogurt Parfait and coffee and you ll get out of there cheap
  • Steak and eggs is pricey but you can split it. Slip some romance into your breakfast by sharing
  • Egg White Omelet with Hash Browns – This is my favorite at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas and the truth is I m not going to be sharing even if it is a healthy portion. The tomatoe avocado relish will make your morning with all the flavors that remind you you should watch more Food Network.
  • Warm Cinnamon Bun – So soft and warm and cuddly, it s like a stuffed animal that comforts you and brings you happiness

You will also love the idea of the Eiffel Tower rising from behind you as well as the Bellagio fountains across the street. Take a wide angle lens and shoot a picture of yourself and you ll have CityCenter, Bellagio Las Vegas and Caesars Palace in your picture.

This spot is really one of the best in town. This is a very Las Vegas spot for breakfast at the Paris Hotel and Casino.

Still need more breakfast ideas in Las Vegas?

  • Hash House a Go Go at The LINQ offers huge portions and good split-able meals for a reasonable price.
  • Bouchon at Venetian brings the best of Chef Thomas Keller to the most important meal of the day in a sunlit room that instantaneously makes you feel good
  • Della s Kitchen at Delano Las Vegas does everything right and then tops it with some killer hash. You ll need a burger and something, anything with pork, because breakfast is not complete without the other white meat.
  • Jean Philippe at Bellagio gives you a chocolate croissant and coffee for more than you should pay but with such quality that you soon forget the dent in your budget.
  • Breakfast at the Wicked Spoon Buffet at Cosmopolitan is a food lovers fantasy with thick cut bacon, fried chicken and pork belly as part of the usual eggs and pancake spread that buffets put out.

    Sights you mustn t miss

    Fun things to do

    Wine and Dine Tips

    • Picasso at Bellagio Resort Hotel

If the Wine Spectator can repeatedly award this restaurant for the best wine list, then surely the fine dining will exceed your expectations too.

Enjoy the fine artwork hanging on the walls as you sip your way through that prime steak.

If you haven t heard of Chef Emeril Lagasse, where have you been? One of the top Chef s in the world, Emeril s restaurant Delmonico and Wine Stewart will assist you in pairing that perfect steak with only the best wines of the world.

A Charlie Palmer restaurant that will leave you satisfied beyond desire, both with the dining options, as well as his tower of wines. You may find that you have spent a great deal of your gambling monies, but be so happy you dined here, that you just won t care.

    Day Trips

    Where to Stay

Resorts on every block are competing for your reservation meaning even a modest budget will allow you to experience the glamorous life.

    • If you want to spend a weekend living in decadence, book into the Flamingo Hilton Hotel or MGM Grand. Combined with seeing a Broad-way style show like Love Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage will see you living the high life.
    • For those less concerned with where you sleep, consider booking into a smaller hotel to increase your spending money. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino removes some of the extravagance of the larger resorts but keeps you close to The Strip and still has an in-house casino.
    • For an eco-friendly option, choose between the Palazzo Hotel and the Aria Hotel. Both have been given LEED certification for their environmental approaches, which is impressive in a city that glows with neon lights.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

    Exploring Las Vegas

Fantasy, exotica, romance, extravagance, luxury and glorious self-indulgence – Las Vegas offers visitors all this and more from its incongruous setting in the wastes of the Nevada Desert. Created purely for pleasure and entertainment, it offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience unequalled anywhere in the world, with its sparkling Strip featured in movies and TV dramas for decades. Spectacular themed casino resorts line the Strip, all competing to offer the most unique attractions, the best performances by giants of the entertainment world and the latest gambling fads. Massive indoor theme parks with adrenaline-rush rides, resort reconstructions of ancient Rome, Venice and Paris, aquariums, botanical displays and zoological parks, attract millions of visitors every year to this neon-lit city.

    Sights nearby

It’s not all casinos in Las Vegas, though most attractions are connected with them. There are many side attractions to take in, both on and off the Strip. Visit the Eiffel Tower, parts of the Titanic, even erupting volcanoes and super-high rollercoasters.

It all began at this buzzing street where some of the most iconic neon signs remain in the ‘Glitter Gulch’, including Vegas Vic. As for casinos, this is where the famed Golden Nugget resides, complete with huge gold nugget, and a large number of clubs and shows.

This huge tower is an unmissable Vegas icon—and has been for decades now—because of its size more than anything. As well as being home to the Stratosphere Hotel, it also boasts fun rides, including a high-up rollercoaster and zero gravity tower ride. Amazing views are de rigueur.

See bits of the actual Titanic at the Luxor’s Artifact Exhibition, including part of its hull, some luggage and even an ancient bottle of champagne. They’ve even redone the Grand Staircase, from where people can have their picture taken, and there’s a fine mock up of the Promenade Deck, too.

    – Old Las Vegas Mormon State Historic Park

The original Mormon settlers set up camp at this spot to the north of downtown. The old fort was built in 1885, though most of what you see today is reconstructed; only a shed remains. In spite of this, it makes for a welcome break from the glitz and non-stop din of the casinos.

Eating and drinking and shopping nearby

Every cuisine is found in Vegas, with well over a dozen restaurants sporting a Michelin-star listing alone, including Joel Rabuchon’s at the MGM Grand. The most-loved treats here, however, are steaks and ribs served in myriad steakhouses and hotels. One of the best is The Strip House at Planet Hollywood. Free drinks are served to gamblers—be sure to tip the waitress—and there are lounges, clubs and shows in most casinos. Shopaholics have everything from top designer boutiques to quirky off-Strip fashion stores. The Forum at Caesar’s, Venetian’s Grand Canal and Paris’ Boulevard are first class.

    Public transport

Getting in and getting around Vegas is straightforward, with the city’s international airport hosting flights from major European cities and a plethora of domestic destinations. Aussie visitors will probably have to connect via Los Angeles. Once in Vegas, transportation between hotels and the dozens of attractions along the Strip can be done by monorail, which runs every 10 minutes from early morning until 03:00, with stations actually within a number of the resorts. For late revellers, the 24-7 RTC Deuce bus service takes in downtown as well as the Strip, stopping outside every casino. Free hotel shuttle buses link most attractions, and off-Strip gambling joints offer shuttles to their other Vegas properties. Cabs cram the streets and, for the ultimate luxury ride, stretch limos can be hired.

Known for its incredible nightlife, Vegas has bars and clubs to please every taste. The celebrity-studded pool parties of XS are decadent affairs – even Prince Harry has been known to stop by – and Minus5 Ice Bar is cool in both senses of the word. As the city has a thriving EDM culture you can party the night away before slinking back to your Las Vegas hotel, with big-name DJs like Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 regularly in town to spin the latest tracks.

    Play your cards right

The Vegas skyline is a truly unique sight, as the themed Casinos of the city’s main strip create a fascinating architectural jumble, from the modern MGM Grand, to the traditionally European Venetian. In addition to the slot machines and card tables, many hotels in Las Vegas are based in these impressive buildings, alongside bars, clubs, theatres and gourmet restaurants.

    Bright lights and fun rides

While you could spend your whole trip inside the casino, there are plenty of reasons to take a wander down the strip. The beautiful dancing fountains of the Bellagio are a particular highlight, as are the light shows of the Fremont Street Experience. The Circus Circus casino also houses the Adventuredome, the largest indoor theme park in America, and thrill-seekers will love the twists and turns of the El Loco rollercoaster. You can even shop ’til you drop and enjoy the fashion, food and entertainment along the Miracle Mile – see more details for your a free coupon book with over $2000 worth of savings.

    Natural wonders

It’s worth taking a trip out of the city from your Las Vegas hotel to see the inspirational sights of the surrounding Mojave Desert. The Grand Canyon is mind-bogglingly vast, stretching out almost 300 miles, a mile deep, and containing more than two billion years’ worth of geological history, and there are tours on offer that will suit all budgets, from luxury bus trips to exciting helicopter flyovers. Less than an hour’s drive from the city you can marvel at the incredible feat of engineering that is the Hoover Dam, and even go skiing on Mount Charleston.

    Spectacular shows

There’s a reason why Las Vegas has earned itself the nickname of “entertainment capital of the world”, with the theatres up and down the strip staging everything from lavish Broadway musicals, to extravagant magic acts. Many major pop stars, including Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Rod Stewart, play residencies in the city, and the world-famous Cirque du Soleil have several shows around Las Vegas; we particularly love the elegant aquatic acrobatics of O.

    Sights you mustn t miss

    Fun things to do

Visit the Old Town Las Vegas and original casino hotels there or take a guided tour and hear the history of Vegas, complete with stories of gangsters and the bodies buried in the desert. Maybe it was Paris that you really wanted to visit, so take a trip to the top of the Eifel Tower.

    Las Vegas Guide

“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” It may be a marketing slogan, but once you get here, it feels like holy writ. Ever since gambling was legalized in Nevada in the 1930s—and especially following the postwar boom years, when shady characters like Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky were running the show—visitors have been heading to this unlikely desert metropolis to have the kind of fun they can’t find back home. It’s the city of showgirls, neon, sky-high hotels, and mile-long buffets, where anything can happen and anything goes and it somehow always feels like 3 a.m.

    Must-Sees on the Strip

The Bellagio fountain show: Every half hour, the giant fountains outside the Bellagio hotel erupt in a free light and water show synchronized with pop songs, classical music, and Broadway show tunes.

  • Caesars Palace: This enormous hotel—an ode to Roman excess—houses an indoor shopping center with designer stores and Restaurant Guy Savoy, one of only 28 restaurants in the United States to receive the prestigious 5-Star Award from Forbes.
  • New York, New York Hotel Casino: The facade replicates the Manhattan skyline, albeit with a roller coaster swooping around a Statue of Liberty lookalike.

First time at the Vdara chosen because non smoking, easy pleasant check in booked the basic room which had a view over the Bellagio fountains on the 27th floor. The room very well laid out small kitchen however no crockery cutlery kettle etc but I believe if you called housekeeping they would supply them. A fridge for your own use but they search your bags when you go to the pool food and drink not allowed, never in Vegas have I had a bag searched going to the pool before.Easy access to the Bellagio,Aria,Cosmopolitan and Crystals. If it’s your first time to LV then a bit of the LV experience is missing but good value and great room.

Second time visit – still wonderful

    Kathleen M (8 reviews)

    Bristol, United Kingdom

After a long flight and transfer the Vdara is a great place to stay. A non- Casino hotel in Las Vagas is not the norm, but if you want elegance with easy reach of all that Las Vagas has to offer, stay at the Vdara. Our suite on the 50th floor afforded amazing views across the city at night and just as good during the day. The suite was well appointed, large bathroom, bath, shower, two washbasins as well as a kitchenette with dining table plus a lounge with TV. Unfortunately we hadn’t time to take advantage of all this hotel has to offer. As this was our second stay it was good to find that standards were just as high. Would highly recommend.

    Rio

A 24-hour party atmosphere reverberates through the vibrant red, purple and blue neon towers of the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino, where large suites, ample entertainment and popular dining combine for the ultimate off-Strip experience.

Meals at the Rio are as exciting and rich as the colorful surroundings. One of the most beloved buffets in Las Vegas — the Carnival World Seafood Buffet — delivers on its moniker, offering the delicious fare of just about every ethnicity. Another must-try eatery in the Rio includes KJ Dim Sum Seafood Chinese Restaurant. Hash House A Go Go has a home-style atmosphere. It serves breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner items that are delivered in oversized portions.

No Vegas vacation would be complete without a show, so take in the sleight-of-hand and gross-out grand illusions of magical duo Penn Teller. Ladies will find it hard to keep their hands to themselves when the well-greased male dancers of Chippendales rip off one tank top after another. And men will also be enthralled with the beautiful ladies and sexy choreography in the topless revue “X Rocks.”

The all-male wait staff at Flirt Lounge, located in the lobby of the Chippendales Theatre, keeps the “Ultimate Girls Night” experience going strong with its full menu of exotic concoctions. Both men and women will delight in amazing views of Las Vegas from the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub, located on the 51st story of the resort’s Masquerade Tower. High-tech fun and cool cocktails also await in the iBar.

Whether watching a flair bartender prepare Brazilian-inspired drinks with a smile or the expert gaming dealers distribute cards, this resort exudes high-energy fun. The vibrant 100,000-square-foot casino floor features more than 1,200 slots, all the favorite table games, poker room, race and sports book and keno lounge. The resort also plays host to the main event of the World Series of Poker each year.

Although you may be in town to party, the staff here takes customer service very seriously, and the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction has earned it national praise. The suite-sized rooms are also among the largest in town, with amenities ranging from a refrigerator to an in-room safe.

The Rio’s pool area, which includes a sandy beach, looks and feels like a tropical paradise, and the Rio Spa Salon will soothe your senses after a long night of dancing. The Rio offers shopping in Masquerade Village and throughout the property as well.

The VooDoo Zip Line, an 800-foot zip ride, adds more excitement at the resort. Taking off from the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub, located atop the hotel’s 50-story Masquerade Tower, guests can cascade toward the Ipanema Tower, reaching speeds up to 33 miles per hour while enjoying beautiful views of the Las Vegas Strip.

    Stratosphere

    Stratosphere

The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel Tower has become a one-of-a-kind landmark in the Vegas skyline and, at 1,149 feet high, its tower is the spot for the ultimate view of Las Vegas. But offering a spectacular view, the highest thrill rides in the country, a bevy of dining options and a variety of accommodations, is just the beginning.

The Stratosphere’s casino is nearly as impressive an entity as the tower. It’s one of the larger gaming floors in town and is constantly updated with state-of-the-art slot machines and video technology. Plus, there’s an action-packed race and sports book and a 24-hour poker room with eight tables.

The Stratosphere also boasts a grand front entrance with valet service. There are 2,427 rooms, mostly in the Premier Tower. More than 900 rooms (called the Stratosphere Select) were recently remodeled and feature modern décor, flat-screen televisions, MP3 alarm clocks, 240-thread-count bedding, elegant furnishings and upgraded bathroom floors and vanities.

A variety of dining experiences awaits guests of the Stratosphere. Off the casino floor, you can enjoy a sock hop atmosphere at Roxy’s Diner or the charm and tastes of Old World Italy at Fellini’s Ristorante Italiano. McCall’s Heartland Grill offers steak and seafood with a Midwestern style. Try plate after plate of global cuisine at the Stratosphere’s sumptuous buffet. And at Top of the World, indulge in delicious eclectic cuisine while seeing the entire city of Las Vegas from your table. The restaurant’s floor rotates, giving guests an exceptional 360-degree view, featuring Mount Charleston, the Las Vegas Strip and beyond.

After dining at the Top of the World, head upstairs to the Level 107 Lounge. It features live music, great cocktails, appetizers and beautiful views. You can also grab a drink at AirBar on Level 108. You might see an occasional person fly by. Don’t worry, you haven’t had too much alcohol. SkyJump, a great attraction for thrill seekers who aren’t afraid of heights, is also located on Level 108. Adventurous visitors are strapped into a harness, attached to the “descender machine” and step off a narrow platform only to plunge 855 feet straight down.

In addition to SkyJump, the Stratosphere boasts a number of other hair-raising attractions including the Big Shot, a seated, shorter but equally thrilling ride, and X Scream, which extends you over the ledge of the Stratosphere Tower — and leaves you there. The stop is only for a few seconds, but it’s long enough to make you appreciate attractions on the first floor. A fourth ride is called Insanity-The Ride. Nothing more need be said!

After enjoying the day sampling the resort’s many attractions, spend your evening at a show in the Theater of the Stars. The sexy show “Pin Up” modernizes the vintage era of the classic pin up calendar girls. It stars Claire Sinclair, Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year and a Bettie Page clothing model, along with a cast of dancers, singers and a live six-piece band. Plus, “MJ Live,” a Michael Jackson tribute show plays at the Stratosphere.

Shop-aholics will find great deals in the Tower Shops, and those who enjoy being pampered can visit the Roni Josef Salon and Spa. Seasonally, there’s the lovely eighth-floor Level 8 Pool where you can catch some rays on an expansive deck, and the the 25th-floor Radiusº Rooftop Pool Wet Lounge where you can enjoy great views and the daily Sunset Happy Hour.

Whether it’s great heights, great attractions or a great show you’re looking for, the Stratosphere has an abundance of amenities to enjoy.

I have stayed at the stratosphere before and I liked the way the hotel looks. Like every hotel it has its ups and its downs. The rooms were clean and spacious. We didn’t have any problems with them at all. The two downs that we saw was that even if we were on the floors near the pool the only thing that we saw outside our window were vents and the bottom part of the tower and that since it is all the way at the end of the strip you have to walk along way to get to the center of the strip. The place that we ate was the buffet and it was great the food had good variety and they catered to almost everyone. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that I know is going for the first time.

We had a great rate at Excalibur and I have always been intrigued with the look. Since I had never stayed there and prefer to try a different place when visiting Las Vegas, I decided to give it a try. Our room was located on the top floor of the Resort Tower with a nice view.
The room itself was very basic, but clean. There is plenty of vanity space in the bathroom and the shower had great water pressure. There is a small hairdryer in the bathroom as well.
The casino has a good variety of games and is a good size. There are plenty of food options as well.
We have grown to like the more central location of the strip, and while the Excalibur is a little further down it is still close to many things. I did like the convenience of the close proximity to the Luxor and New York New York.
We always had a friendly encounter with all employees.
I would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the fun, medieval theme and atmosphere.

If you don’t like kids. or if your visit to Las Vegas wasn’t focused on them. well, there are kids here. If you don’t mind them – and I don’t – the Excalibur is a perfectly lovely and comfortable hotel right in the middle of things and it’s very inexpensive. The buffet is also inexpensive, for strip standards. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to town and asks where they can save money but still be in the middle of the strip. I went to the spa – it’s priced about like any of them, not much less expensive. But it is very nice. All in all, the full strip-casino experience on a budget. And if you DO have kids? It looks like a CASTLE!

When Las Vegas calls, pack your sunglasses and leave your watch behind. This party town shines brightly under a desert sun by day and neon lights by night.

Once a dusty, desert town in Nevada, Las Vegas is now a playground of big hotels, outrageous neon lights and outlandish personalities. Its transformation into a gambling hotspot began in 1931, when the first gaming license was issued. Since then, Vegas has continued to expand and evolve, from a post-war gangsters paradise and favored hangout of the mid- 60s Rat Pack to a glittering spectacle.

The themed hotels of Vegas are legendary. Experience ancient Rome at Caesars Palace or climb aboard a gondola at the Venetian. Marvel at the Mirage s erupting volcano, see The Big Apple s skyline at New York-New York, or drink a cocktail at the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel.

While it s known as Sin City, Vegas is more than gambling and adult entertainment. Families will find plenty of innocent fun, some of which, like the Bellagio Resort and Casino’s nightly fountain show, is free. A stroll along the Las Vegas Strip or The Forum Shops will also cost you nothing. At the Fremont Street Experience watch the nightly parade without paying a cent.

You can also see fantastic Las Vegas shows featuring A-list, superstar performers, and for the seriously adventurous, experience the thrill of driving an exotic performance or true race car.

Las Vegas provides experiences on an extravagant scale. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon, is a just a few hours drive away. There s a record-breaking free fall at Stratosphere Tower and exotic sea creatures at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s Shark Reef Aquarium . Even Sin City s seedy past is on display at the fascinating Mob Museum .

Though the famous all-you-can-eat buffets and juicy hamburger joints remain, Vegas has stepped it up in the food stakes, with a fresh crop of restaurants attracting discerning clientele. The shopping here rivals New York and Los Angeles, with hundreds of designer boutiques, opulent malls, children s stores and plenty of souvenir stops. If you can’t find it in Vegas, it probably can’t be found.

For more details on interesting local attractions and activities, check out our things to do in Las Vegas page.

    Accommodation in Las Vegas

Las Vegas features a nice range of places to stay. Expedia’s hotels in Las Vegas page has all the details.

The SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand, located at 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard, and the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, at 3960 Las Vegas Blvd S, are fine examples of upmarket Las Vegas accommodation options. If those recommendations aren’t what you’re looking for, the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, 3752 Las Vegas Blvd S, and the Nobu Hotel, 3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South may be more your style.

If you’d rather stay closer to Las Vegas Convention Center, the SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand and the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas are both nearby.

A gigantic replica of the Great Sphinx stands in front of the 30-story dark pyramid of the Luxor Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, inviting guests into the Egyptian-themed resort, complete with swaying palms, statues of Ramses and a mock obelisk. Accessible by the Vegas monorail, the Luxor is at the south end of The Strip near the Las Vegas Convention Center. With its flashing beam of light on the apex and a towering atrium inside, the pyramid is a favorite among vacationing families, though the vast casino, nightly entertainment and gourmet dining guarantee adults a quintessential Las Vegas vacation.

Dramatically lit statues, towering pillars and polished wood furniture adorn the marble lobby. Pyramid guest accommodations are accessed by inclinators (elevators that ascend on an angle because of the building’s shape) and have slanted picture windows that look out onto The Strip. The hotels Egyptian theme is subtler in the guest rooms, which are decorated with comfortable, contemporary furnishings, though scattered touches such as hieroglyphic artwork or black lacquer inlay evoke the exotic vibe. Rooms and Las Vegas suites range from about 400 square feet to over 1000 square feet, the most luxurious of which offers marble soaking tubs, separate sitting areas and wet bars.

Las Vegas specialty restaurants like Fusia Luxor, offering Asian cuisine, and T & T, which serves Mexican food, are popular among families. Guests with a discerning palate enjoy award-winning Chef KC Fazel’s Tender Steak and Seafood Restaurant, and those seeking a unique dining and entertainment experience will enjoy the CatHouse, which blends a European bordello ambience and provocative entertainment with a multi-cuisine menu created by celebrity chef Kerry Simon.

The Luxor property is made up of several areas that house dining, entertainment and activity facilities. The Casino level boasts not only extensive gaming, but also has several restaurants, nightclubs and a five-acre pool complex complete with cabanas, swaying palms and poolside drink service. Vast and decadent, Lax is the celebrity-frequented dance club that feels red hot, while Liquidity is the sleek and modern high-concept lounge that has interactive aquatic video projections for a cool effect. Aurora bar and Flight gaming lounge are also on the Casino Level. The more family-friendly Atrium Level is home to a food court, an IMAX theater and traveling attractions and shows.

Nurture, the Spa at Luxor, harnesses the healing power of the earth with treatments and facilities inspired by nature. Nourishing facials, massages and treatments here include the Hyalunia Papaya Mango Facial, Chocolate Champagne Anti-aging Facial and Hot Stones Massage. Guests can relax in the eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna or whirlpool. The adjacent fitness center has all manner of circuit, cardio and strength training equipment. There are nearly 30 Las Vegas shops and boutiques of all descriptions on site, and in true Vegas form, the Luxor has a tasteful and classic wedding chapel.

    The Nathan Adelson Hospice

Dear Staff at the Nathan Adelson Hospice,

Many people do not like talking about this everyday occurrance, which happens to all of us. Yes, I am talking about death. We are all destined to die which is just part of life. Why not make it as comfortable as you possibly can for a loved one. That is exactly what Nathan Adelson Hospice has done for my mom. The staff at Nathan Adelson Hospice showed so much love, care, dignity and respect towards my mom, just as though she was part of their own family. The staff even cried when they found out she died on my birthday, which was on 1 January 1213.

The care and love the staff have for people who need comfort is a blessing and a gift from God, and their gift really shines through. Thank You all. Dennis

Not a Angel I had to take my wife to Nathan Adelson because of here pain she was having due to cancer. I had head so many good things about this facility; I was convinced that it would be good place for here to receive effective pain management treated with dignity.

Upon my first visit after spending a good portion of the night with her. My wife was very upset; I ask what was the matter. She said that the doctor and staff was very mean to here. Knowing her, I know that she was of a good mind. After going through all the pain of her Cancer needless to say I was very upset. I went and spoke to the head RN and complained. Two day later she passed away.

She was not treated with dignity or respect. wail at this facility. I am so sorry I took here there.

    Angels Aloha,

Kealoha and I are full time providers for my father 24-7, we have been blessed having this opportunity to care for him. Dr. Toppo inquired about fathers care while in the hospital (outside) being that he is a heart patient, his body is too weak. He was having mini strokes with too much activity.(PT). Seeing how worn out we were and that dads health was declining, Dr. Toppo asked What is our Goal for Dad? replied that he remain comfortable. The transferring from bed to wheel chair to automobile was a great strain for all 3 of us. Hospice has come in since and so lovingly has cared for father everyday. It is heartwarming to see others care for father. I wish I could do more for those caring for him. the nurses after hours counciling me and making me comfortable in decisions needing to be made. remarkable. I salute, Dr. Toppo, CNA’s, RN’s Social Workers, and TEAM HOSPICE. You helped in ways that cannot be all mentioned. The program at Swenson is another added treat for Kealoha and I, we can go see a brother that has been diagnosed with Cancer and not be too concerned about fathers care. Thank you! Mahalo Nui Loa!

compassion and caring I will always remember the kindness and the care that was given to both my husband and I. My husband lived his last week of life at adelson hospice, and without even knowing the facility i chose adelson. its a decision i will never regret. To know that you will someday lose the love of your life is not easy, and i am so grateful for everthing the nurses did for him, me and my family .I never wanted hospice as an option but sometimes we forget about the ones who are sick and only think of own selfish reasons. my husband was painfree. I would not of had it any other way. Thank You So Much.

Pima Medical Institute Las Vegas Reviews

They not only provide quality medical training but, support students and employees in many ways (in 6 reviews)

The staff and faculty are wonderful, it’s like a giant family at Pima (in 4 reviews)

I love working for PMI and would recommend it to others (in 4 reviews)

We are a family owned company, but more importantly because of our ESOP program, we’re a majority employee owned company (in 6 reviews)

employee owned . great bonuses, great salaries (in 5 reviews)

There are no cons to working at PMI (in 11 reviews)

New Management . Don’t talk down to the people who help you run PMI (in 4 reviews)

There are cons at any place of employment but none here enough to mention, growing pains maybe (in 3 reviews)

Nobody leaves, pay is low . no room for advancement (in 2 reviews)

No company is perfect . so it has its challenges like anyone else (in 2 reviews)

    More Pros and Cons

The managers are always approachable not only at the local campus level, but also at the corporate level. The VP knows every employees name which is impressive. The company is student focused and they value the ideas of the employees. It is important to the company that they treat each employee with respect and with value. This makes the employment turn over rate very low

Would like to see the regional directors have more time to spend with employees and not just with management team

This company puts their students first, regardless. I love the honesty and adherence to solid values that makes this company the leader in private education. I ve been here 8 years. It s been the best place I ve worked at in my life.

No company is perfect, but there is nothing of any significance to complain about. If issues arise, they are normally resolved to everyone s satisfaction at the campus level.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes changes come a little to fast to be absorbed by everyone.

I love working at and for Pima! My boss is the bomb, and the associate campus director is down-to-earth and approachable! There are so many companies and schools out there which are solely financial based, but Pima is employee and student based. This is the best place I ve ever worked! I ve been in the medical field for 20+ years, and have worked for the past 35 years, and Pima Medical Institute is without question my dream job!

Although I know there are faults and cons with all companies and jobs, I have not yet found any at the campus I work at, nor have I found any with the corporate office which I am in constant communication with.

    Advice to Management

Stay doing what you are doing! We always say we are here for the students, and as the front line people – we are. However, you as management are here for those of us that work at Pima, and it is something I have never experienced before.
